How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Social Climber triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. Repeat.

This engine relies on a brilliant compounding effect where Mite Overseer acts as your mana sink and token factory, turning {3}{W/P} into a pair of freshly minted tokens thanks to the replacement effect provided by Stridehangar Automaton. As those tokens enter the battlefield, Social Climber triggers twice to steadily pad your life total, compensating for any life spent on Phyrexian mana. You then feed both tokens directly into Ashnod's Altar to generate four colorless mana—more than enough to pay for the Overseer's activation cost again with mana to spare. With Stridehangar Automaton also passively pumping your growing air force, this recursive loop spins entirely out of control, generating boundless artifacts, mana, and life.
