How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Nether Traitor.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another creature.
  3. When the creature dies, Nether Traitor triggers, causing you to pay B mana to return Nether Traitor from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  4. Kheru Goldkeeper and Chalk Outline triggers, creating a Treasure token, Clue token and creature token.
  5. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding B mana.
  6. Repeat.

This recursive loop centers around Ashnod's Altar and Nether Traitor, using the Altar's sacrifice outlet to continuously feed the Traitor back into the graveyard while generating colorless mana. The real magic happens when Nether Traitor leaves your graveyard, which turns Kheru Goldkeeper and Chalk Outline into a veritable engine of bonus value—churning out endless Treasures, Clues, and Detective tokens to fund your recurring black mana payment and supply infinite card draw.
