How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Ornithopter, adding CC.
2. Activate Havengul Lich by paying 1, targeting Ornithopter.
3. Cast Ornithopter from graveyard by paying 0.
4. Repeat.

This cunning setup uses Ashnod's Altar as your primary engine, letting you sacrifice the zero-mana Ornithopter to generate a steady stream of colorless mana. To bring it back, you turn to Havengul Lich, whose first ability allows you to repeatedly cast target creature card from your graveyard. Because Ornithopter costs nothing to cast, the Lich's activation fee is easily paid for by the mana generated from the Altar, creating a self-sustaining loop that floods the battlefield with endless artifacts, triggers, and resources.
