How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cathodion, adding CC.
2. When Cathodion dies, it triggers, adding CCC.
3. Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying 2C, blinking Edgar.
4. Cast Cathodion from your graveyard by paying 2.
5. Repeat.

This engine transforms a graveyard and a sacrifice outlet into an endless loop by leveraging Edgar, Master Machinist to recast your artifacts from the graveyard for a reduced cost of {2} thanks to The Immortal Sun. When you sacrifice Cathodion to Ashnod's Altar, its death trigger combined with the Altar's own mana generation provides all the colorless mana you need to pay for both the recast and Eldrazi Displacer's activation. You then use Eldrazi Displacer to blink Edgar, Master Machinist, which refreshes the once-per-turn casting restriction so you can immediately repeat the process.
