How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Shadow Puppeteers, adding CC.
2. When Shadow Puppeteers dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Shadow Puppeteers from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
3. When Shadow Puppeteers enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating two 1/1 Faerie Rogue creature tokens.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Faerie Rogue, adding CC.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns the arrival of Shadow Puppeteers into a self-sustaining engine of creation and sacrifice, fueled by Ashnod's Altar and Nim Deathmantle. When Shadow Puppeteers enters the battlefield, its ability brings along two 1/1 black Faerie Rogue creature tokens, providing the exact fodder needed to feed Ashnod's Altar for the mana required to pay Nim Deathmantle's resurrection trigger. By continually sacrificing the resulting tokens and the Puppeteers themselves, the death triggers feed the Deathmantle to endlessly loop the creatures back to the battlefield—leaving you with an arbitrarily large army and an infinite surplus of colorless mana.
