How it works
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an artifact creature, adding CC.
- Crime Novelist triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to add .
- Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns the mere act of sacrifice into an engine of endless growth and resources. By feeding your artifacts into Ashnod's Altar, you generate the raw mana needed to keep the machinery turning, while Crime Novelist steps in to reward those sacrifices with a surge of red mana and a +1/+1 counter. That counter placement immediately wakes up Animation Module's triggered ability, letting you spend a portion of your floating mana to produce a fresh Servo token ready to be sacrificed right back to the Altar.
