How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing any other creature you control, adding CC.
2. Syr Vondam triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and causing you to gain 1 life.
3. Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the cycle of life and metal into an engine for endless resources, utilizing Ashnod's Altar as the sacrifice outlet that funds its own continuation. Every time a creature is fed to the Altar, Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar triggers to pump itself up and pad your life total, which in turn wakes up Animation Module to manufacture a fresh 1/1 Servo artifact creature token to take the fallen one's place. Because the Altar generates two colorless mana while Animation Module only asks for one to make a replacement body, you are left with a surplus of energy and an endlessly growing commander ready to decimate the board when its time finally comes.
