How it works

  1. Cast Animation Module by paying 1.
  2. When Animation Module enters, Oreplate Pangolin triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on Oreplate Pangolin.
  3. Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
  4. When the Servo enters, Oreplate Pangolin triggers.
  5. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Servo, adding CC.
  6. Resolve the Oreplate Pangolin trigger, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on Oreplate Pangolin.
  7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop turns a modest automation engine into a self-sustaining manufacturing line by capitalizing on how easily artifacts trigger one another. Oreplate Pangolin acts as the muscle, converting the entrance of any new artifact into an opportunity to grow by paying into its triggered ability. That growth immediately wakes up Animation Module, whose triggered ability lets you spend a single mana to spawn a fresh 1/1 Servo artifact creature token whenever a counter lands on a permanent. That new Servo's arrival loops right back to feed the Pangolin, while Ashnod's Altar stands ready to sacrifice the newly minted Servo for two colorless mana—easily funding the one-mana costs required by both the Pangolin and the Module to keep the entire cycle spinning indefinitely.
