How it works
- Draw a card.
- Lyla triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
- Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Servo, adding CC.
- When the Servo dies, Tresserhorn's Lord triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Repeat from step 2.
This brilliant loop turns a simple draw into a perpetual motion machine by tightly binding card draw, counter placement, and sacrifice economics. The engine begins when Tresserhorn's Lord, Returned grants you a card whenever any creature bites the dust, instantly replacing the fuel you burn. That drawn card triggers Lyla, Holographic Assistant to drop a +1/+1 counter onto your board, which in turn wakes up Animation Module to let you pay a single mana for a fresh 1/1 Servo token. You then feed that Servo straight into Ashnod's Altar to generate two colorless mana—more than enough to pay the Module's fee while leaving a profit of pure mana behind.
