How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing any other creature you control, adding CC.
2. Merchant of Venom triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay 1 to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token.
4. Repeat.

This crafty loop turns the sacrifice fodder of Merchant of Venom into an engine of continuous value, bridged by Animation Module and Ashnod's Altar. Whenever Merchant of Venom forces a permanent sacrifice or enters the battlefield, its triggered ability places a +1/+1 counter on itself, which immediately wakes up Animation Module's first ability to generate a Servo token for just one mana. You can then feed that newly minted Servo (or any other creature) right into Ashnod's Altar to harvest the two colorless mana needed to pay Animation Module's tax, leaving you swimming in infinite colorless mana, tokens, and growth.
