How it works

  1. Declare Cheering Fanatic as an attacker, triggering its ability. Choose to name "Tatterkite".
  2. Cast Tatterkite from your graveyard by paying 2 due to Cheering Fanatic. It won't enter with a finality counter on it due to its static ability.
  3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Tatterkite, adding CC
  4. Repeat from step 2.
