How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Palinchron, adding CC.
3. When Palinchron dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, returning Palinchron from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attaching Nim Deathmantle to it.
4. When Palinchron enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
5. Repeat.
6. If the lands can tap to produce at least 3, this combo nets infinite mana.

This brilliant loop turns the self-contained potential of Palinchron into a permanent engine by leveraging Ashnod's Altar and Nim Deathmantle. As you sacrifice Palinchron to the Altar for colorless mana, its death triggers the Deathmantle's ability, which uses a portion of that generated mana to immediately return Palinchron to the battlefield while re-equipping itself. Once returned, Palinchron's enter-the-battlefield trigger untaps your lands to reset your mana supply, allowing you to easily repeat the cycle for infinite mana and triggers as long as your lands can produce the required threshold.
