How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Archon of Falling Stars, adding CC.
2. When Archon of Falling Stars dies, it triggers, returning Dance of the Dead from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Dance of the Dead enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Archon of Falling Stars from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attaching Dance of the Dead to it.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop creates infinite colorless mana and an endless chain of entering-and-leaving-the-battlefield triggers by continually recycling a single creature from the graveyard. You initiate the sequence by feeding Archon of Falling Stars to Ashnod's Altar for two colorless mana, whose death trigger immediately targets and returns Dance of the Dead from your graveyard. As Dance of the Dead enters the battlefield, its own ability reanimates Archon of Falling Stars right back onto the battlefield, attaching itself to the Archon once more so the cycle can begin again.
