How it works

1. Cast Walking Ballista by paying 1, causing it to enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
2. Activate Together Forever by paying 1, targeting Walking Ballista.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Walking Ballista, adding CC.
4. When Walking Ballista dies, Together Forever triggers, returning Walking Ballista from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Walking Ballista into a self-sustaining engine by constantly recycling it between the battlefield and your hand. Shuri, Wakandan Inventor helps grease the wheels by making your artifact spells cheaper to cast, while Ashnod's Altar provides the colorless mana needed to fund Together Forever's protection ability and recast the Ballista after it is sacrificed. Because Together Forever ensures the Walking Ballista immediately returns to your hand upon dying, you can repeat this cycle endlessly to generate infinite sacrifice and death triggers.
