How it works

1. Activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Peregrine Drake, adding CC.
3. When Peregrine Drake dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, returning Peregrine Drake from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attaching Nim Deathmantle to it.
4. When Peregrine Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to five lands.
5. Repeat.
6. If the lands can tap to produce at least 3, this combo nets infinite mana.

This elegant loop turns Ashnod's Altar and Nim Deathmantle into an infinite recycling engine for Peregrine Drake. By sacrificing the Drake to the Altar for colorless mana, you trigger the Deathmantle's ability to pull it right back from the graveyard, while also leaving you with enough leftover mana to pay that revival cost if your lands can produce at least three mana total. Every time the Drake re-enters the battlefield, its triggered ability untaps your lands to reset the cycle, letting you generate boundless colorless mana alongside an endless stream of entries, exits, and sacrifices.
