How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Circuit Mender, adding CC.
2. When Circuit Mender dies, its second ability and Mortuary trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Circuit Mender on top of your library from your graveyard.
4. Resolve the Circuit Mender trigger, causing you to draw Circuit Mender.
5. Cast Circuit Mender by paying 2.
6. When Circuit Mender enters the battlefield, its first ability triggers, causing you to gain two life.
7. Repeat.

This looping engine turns a humble automaton into an infinite source of life and cards. By feeding Circuit Mender to Ashnod's Altar, you generate the colorless mana needed to recast it while triggering its leave-the-battlefield ability to draw a card. Mortuary neatly intercepts Circuit Mender as it hits the graveyard, placing it right back on top of your library so you can seamlessly draw it again. Meanwhile, Jhoira's Familiar quietly does the heavy lifting in the background, reducing the casting cost of historic spells like our robotic friend to make the whole loop mana-positive.
