How it works

1. Cast Lab Rats with buyback by paying 4.
2. Storm-Kiln Artist triggers, creating a Treasure token.
3. Resolve Lab Rats, creating a 1/1 Rat creature token and returning it to your hand.
4. When the Rat enters the battlefield, Wick triggers, creating a 1/1 Snail creature token.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the Rat and Snail, adding CCCC.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the unassuming rat-maker Lab Rats into a self-sustaining engine by leaning on the persistent mana generation of Storm-Kiln Artist.
