How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cathodion, adding CC.
2. When Cathodion dies, it triggers, adding CCC.
3. Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying 2C, blinking Edgar.
4. Cast Cathodion from your graveyard by paying 2.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns an unassuming mechanical recycling line into a bottomless engine fueled by relentless sacrifice and recursion. Ashnod's Altar provides the immediate mana fuel by sacrificing Cathodion, which simultaneously triggers Cathodion's own death ability to generate a surplus of colorless mana. With that energy, Eldrazi Displacer blinks Edgar, Master Machinist, whose static ability lets you freely pull Cathodion right back out of the graveyard; this is made even more efficient by Starnheim Courser lowering the artifact casting costs so the math flows endlessly.
