How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Cathodion, adding CC.
2. When Cathodion dies, it triggers, adding CCC.
3. Activate Eldrazi Displacer by paying 2C, blinking Edgar.
4. Cast Cathodion from your graveyard by paying 2.
5. Repeat.

This intricate loop turns the graveyard into an active workshop, using Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice Cathodion for colorless mana while simultaneously triggering Cathodion's death ability to net a surplus of mana. Eldrazi Displacer uses that generated colorless energy to blink Edgar, Master Machinist, whose unique permission allows you to continually bypass the graveyard and recast Cathodion. Meanwhile, Jhoira's Familiar quietly reduces the casting cost of your artifacts to grease the wheels of the machinery, ensuring you have more than enough mana to sustain the loop indefinitely.
