How it works

2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Tatterkite, adding CC

Starnheim Courser lightens the tax by reducing the cost of artifact spells, allowing you to recast Tatterkite for just two mana. Tatterkite's own static ability is the linchpin of the combo, preventing the finality counter that Leonardo would normally impose and letting the automaton enter the graveyard cleanly time and time again.
