How it works

1. Activate Kaya's second loyalty ability by removing two loyalty counters from it, causing you to double any tokens you create this turn.
2. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
3. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Insidious Roots triggers, creating two creature tokens and putting a +1/+1 counter on each Plant you control.
5. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
6. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
7. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
8. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns Survey Mechan into a self-sustaining engine by relying on Mortuary to constantly recycle it back to the top of your library for re-casting. As Survey Mechan dies, Insidious Roots triggers upon the creature card leaving your graveyard, generating Plant tokens that are doubled thanks to Kaya, Geist Hunter's token-doubling ability. You then feed those extra tokens into Ashnod's Altar to generate the exact mana needed to recast Survey Mechan over and over, all while draining your opponents, drawing your deck, and growing an army of massive plants.
