How it works

1. Put a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak
2. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the creature token.
4. When the creature token dies, Long Feng triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
5. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop is centered around Scurry Oak, which naturally spawns a 1/1 green Squirrel creature token whenever it receives one or more +1/+1 counters. By feeding that newly created token into Ashnod's Altar, you generate a steady stream of colorless mana while sending the token to the graveyard. That death is precisely what wakes up Long Feng, Grand Secretariat, whose triggered ability spots the land or creature hitting the graveyard and instantly places another +1/+1 counter back onto Scurry Oak. This fresh counter restarts the whole cycle, allowing you to easily spin up an infinite supply of death triggers, sacrifices, and colorless mana.
