How it works

  1. Cast Whitemane Lion by paying 1W/P.
  2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
  3. When the Soldier enters the battlefield, Kor Celebrant triggers, causing you to gain one life.
  4. When Whitemane Lion enters the battlefield, it and Kor Celebrant trigger.
  5. Resolve the Kor Celebrant trigger, causing you to gain one life.
  6. Resolve the Whitemane Lion trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Soldier, adding CC.
  8. Repeat.
