How it works

  1. Activate Sensei's Divining Top's second ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top from the battlefield onto the top of your library.
  2. Wan Shi Tong's second ability triggers, creating two 1/1 Spirit creature tokens.
  3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Spirit, adding CC.
  4. Cast Sensei's Divining Top from the top of your library by paying 1.
  5. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms the manipulation of your library into an endless engine of creation and profit, anchored by Wan Shi Tong, All-Knowing sitting on your board to watch every card movement. By tapping Sensei's Divining Top to draw a card and place itself back on top of your library, you trigger Wan Shi Tong's ability to spawn a pair of unblockable Spirit tokens. Those fresh tokens are immediately fed to Ashnod's Altar to harvest the colorless mana needed to recast Sensei's Divining Top directly from the top of your library. Meanwhile, Future Sight quietly holds the whole operation together from your command post, allowing you to continually cast Sensei's Divining Top from the very top of your library without ever needing it to hit your hand.
