How it works
- Activate Zombie Infestation by discarding two cards, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Zombie, whose power should have been altered from its base power.
- When the Zombie dies, Jason Bright triggers, causing you to draw two cards.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns your graveyard and hand into a perpetual motion machine by abusing token doubling and replacement effects. You begin by using Zombie Infestation to churn out tokens, but thanks to Bard, King of Dale sitting on the battlefield doubling your token generation, you actually get twice as many Zombies as you paid for. Feeding those tokens to Ashnod's Altar provides the mana needed to keep the cycle going while ensuring they hit the graveyard with an altered power—setting up Jason Bright, Glowing Prophet to trigger upon their death. Because Bard, King of Dale also doubles every draw after your first in a turn, Jason Bright's card draw turns into an avalanche of extra cards that easily fuels Zombie Infestation's discard cost indefinitely.
