How it works

1. Activate Mite Overseer by paying 3W/P, creating two creature tokens.
2. When the creature tokens enter the battlefield, Thunder of Unity triggers twice, causing you to gain 2 life and each opponent to lose 2 life.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the creature tokens, adding CCCC.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop is anchored by Stridehangar Automaton, whose replacement effect turns every single token creation into a double dose of artifact bodies. When you activate Mite Overseer, Stridehangar Automaton doubles the resulting Phyrexian Mites by also generating a flying Thopter token alongside them, while Mite Overseer's passive static anthem also passively buffs your token army's power and grants them first strike. Feeding those generated tokens into Ashnod's Altar converts them back into a surplus of colorless mana to keep the engine going. Meanwhile, Thunder of Unity handles the win condition in the background, utilizing its chapter abilities to drain your opponents out of the game through an endless cascade of enters-the-battlefield triggers whenever creatures arrive.
