How it works

1. Activate Automated Assembly Line by paying EEE, creating a 3/3 Robot artifact creature token.
2. When the Robot enters the battlefield, Gonti's Aether Heart and Era of Innovation trigger.
3. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Robot, adding CC.
4. Resolve the Era of Innovation trigger, causing you to pay 1 to get EE.
5. Resolve the Gonti's Aether Heart trigger, causing you to get EE.
6. Repeat.
7. Once you have infinite E, you may forego sacrificing the Robots.

This clever loop spins up an endless supply of energy and mana by turning automated factory work into a self-sustaining resource engine. You start by using Automated Assembly Line to spend your energy reserves on a fresh 3/3 Robot token, which immediately causes Gonti's Aether Heart and Era of Innovation to flood you with even more energy as it enters the battlefield. Before those entry triggers fully resolve, Ashnod's Altar steps in to immediately sacrifice that newly minted Robot for colorless mana, helping pay for Era of Innovation's energy tax while sending the token away so the cycle can begin anew. Once this assembly line gathers infinite energy, you can eventually stop sacrificing the Robots altogether, leaving you with an unstoppable mechanical army and all the mana you could ever dream of.
