How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Heliod, adding CC.
  2. When Heliod dies, Necrogen Communion triggers, returning Heliod from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  3. When Heliod enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Necrogen Communion from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding B mana.
  5. Cast Necrogen Communion by paying 1B mana, attaching it to Heliod.
  6. Repeat.
