How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a creature
2. When the creature dies, Mortuary triggers, putting the creature from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Cast the creature from the top of your library by paying X life, where X is the creature's mana value.
4. Aetherflux Reservoir triggers, causing you to gain 1 life for each spell you've cast this turn.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns Gwenom, Remorseless into a self-sustaining engine by letting her attack ability cast creatures directly from the top of your library at the cost of life rather than mana. When you feed that creature to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana, Mortuary instantly catches it on its way to the graveyard and places it right back on top of your library for the next iteration. Meanwhile, Aetherflux Reservoir meticulously tracks your skyrocketing storm count, converting every cast into a mountain of life that effortlessly outpaces the life you spent, eventually letting you cash out for lethal damage.
