How it works

1. Activate the Equipment by paying its equip cost, attaching it to the creature that is castable for C.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the creature, adding CC.
3. When the creature dies, Koll triggers, returning the creature from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Cast the creature by paying its mana cost.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on a clever gearwork of sacrifice and recycling to generate infinite storm count and sacrifice triggers. By using Ashnod's Altar to feed on your own creature for two colorless mana, you fund the creature's re-casting cost while simultaneously triggering Koll, the Forgemaster's mandatory return clause—provided that the sacrificed creature is properly equipped to qualify. Because Koll, the Forgemaster bounces the dying creature straight back to your hand rather than letting it stay in the graveyard, you can replay it endlessly, turning a modest mana investment into an endless cascade of enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield events.
