How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Wretched Throng, adding CC.
  2. When Wretched Throng dies, it and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
  3. Holding priority, activate Tomb Trawler by paying 2, putting Wretched Throng from your graveyard onto the bottom of your library.
  4. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
  5. Resolve the Wretched Throng trigger, putting Wretched Throng from your library into your hand.
  6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding U mana.
  7. Cast Wretched Throng by paying 1U mana.
  8. The Vision and Scarlet Witch triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and adding R mana.
  9. Repeat.
