How it works

1. Cast Hildibrand either from your hand, from exile, or from the command zone by paying 1 plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Hildibrand, adding CC.
3. When Hildibrand triggers, it and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
4. Resolve the Hildibrand trigger, allowing you to cast it from your graveyard as an Adventure until the end of your next turn.
5. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Cast Gentlemen's Rise from your graveyard by paying 2, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token and exiling Gentlemen's Rise with the ability to cast it as Hildibrand later.
8. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Zombie, adding CC.
9. When the Zombie dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
10. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
11. Repeat.
