This clever loop lets you endlessly sacrifice and recast Tatterkite, fueled entirely by the mana-generating power of Ashnod's Altar. The engine works smoothly because Savvy Trader provides a vital cost reduction that makes casting Tatterkite cheaper, while also letting you play it straight from the graveyard. That graveyard casting is enabled by Leonardo, Sewer Samurai, which allows you to cast creatures with power or toughness 1 or less from your graveyard during your turn. Normally, Leonardo would brand that creature with a finality counter, but Tatterkite's own static ability prevents counters from being put on it at all, bypassing the exile clause and keeping the fodder completely fresh for another trip through the altar.
