How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Wingmantle Chaplain, adding CC.
  2. Wingmantle Chaplain dies, triggering Nim Deathmantle, causing you to pay 4 to return Wingmantle Chaplain from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. When Wingmantle Chaplain enters the battlefield, its first ability triggers, creating at least two 1/1 Bird creature tokens.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Bird, adding CC.
  5. Repeat.
