How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Scampering Scorcher, adding CC.
  2. Scampering Scorcher dies, triggering Nim Deathmantle, causing you to pay 4 to return Scampering Scorcher from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. Scampering Scorcher enters the battlefield, creating two 1/1 Elemental creature tokens and giving Elementals you control haste until end of turn.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Elemental token, adding CC.
  5. Repeat.
