How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing another nontoken creature, adding CC.
2. When the creature dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers. Choose not to pay.
3. Activate Xu-Ifit by tapping it, returning a creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Xu-Ifit, adding CC.
5. When Xu-Ifit dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return it from your graveyard to the battlefield and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
6. Repeat.

This intricate necromantic engine uses Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice creatures for raw mana while feeding the graveyard for later exploitation. Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist steps into the loop to regularly dredge those fallen souls back to the battlefield, turning your graveyard into a revolving door of sacrifices. Meanwhile, Thousand-Year Elixir quietly removes summoning sickness concerns by letting Xu-Ifit tap immediately for its resurrection duty, bypassing the usual waiting period. Finally, Nim Deathmantle steps in as the ultimate insurance policy, weaponizing the death triggers by using the Altar's mana to repeatedly resurrect Xu-Ifit and reattach itself, keeping the endless cycle of sacrifices running infinitely.
