How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Threefold Thunderhulk, adding CC.
2. When Threefold Thunderhulk dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Threefold Thunderhulk from your graveyard to the battlefield and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
3. When Threefold Thunderhulk enters, it triggers, creating at least five creature tokens.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a creature token, adding CC.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Ashnod's Altar to turn your heavy hitters into pure profit by sacrificing Threefold Thunderhulk for mana, which then funds the revival trigger granted by Nim Deathmantle. Because Threefold Thunderhulk enters the battlefield with a massive power boosted by its counters, its own entry ability immediately replenishes your board with an army of Gnome artifact creature tokens. You can then feed one of those newly minted tokens right back into Ashnod's Altar to generate the remaining mana needed to loop the process indefinitely, netting you infinite colorless mana alongside boundless entries, sacrifices, and deaths.
