How it works

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Golgari Thug, adding CC.
  2. When Golgari Thug dies, it and Rakdos trigger.
  3. Resolve the Golgari Thug trigger, putting it from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
  4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top two cards of your library with the ability to cast them this turn.
  5. Cast Golgari Thug from exile by paying 2.
  6. Repeat.
