How it works

1. Activate Ghave's first ability by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Saproling, adding CC.
3. When the Saproling dies, Kresh the Bloodbraided triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kresh the Bloodbraided.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns a modest investment of mana into an infinite engine by cycling resources between Ghave, Guru of Spores and Ashnod's Altar. You use Ghave's ability to strip a +1/+1 counter and spawn a Saproling token, which you then feed directly into Ashnod's Altar to generate the colorless mana needed to keep going while refunding your mana supply. Meanwhile, Kresh the Bloodbraided acts as a quiet beneficiary, growing steadily larger with every sacrifice as the creature deaths pile up.
