How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the extra nontoken creature, adding CC.
2. When the creature dies, Mortuary and Rakdos trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting the sacrificed creature from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top one or two cards of your library with the ability to cast them this turn.
5. Cast the creature from exile by paying at most 2.
6. Repeat.

This loop brilliantly turns your own library into an infinite-use recursive engine by chaining together three distinct triggers and mana abilities. Whenever you sacrifice a creature to Ashnod's Altar, Mortuary immediately intercepts it on the way to the graveyard to place it right back on top of your library, while Rakdos, the Muscle triggers to exile that very same card so you can recast it. Because Rakdos allows any type of mana to be spent on these spells and the Altar conveniently provides the exact colorless mana needed to recast your recurring threat, you generate infinite colorless mana, storm count, and sacrifice triggers while systematically exiling and playing your entire library.
