How it works

1. Activate Survey Mechan by sacrificing it.
2. When Survey Mechan dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Survey Mechan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Quintorius, History Chaser triggers, creating two creature tokens.
4. Resolve the Survey Mechan ability, dealing 3 damage to any target and causing you to draw three cards and gain 3 life.
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the two creature tokens, adding CCCC.
6. Cast Survey Mechan by paying 4.
7. Repeat.

This intricate loop centers around Survey Mechan, which sacrifices itself to deal damage, draw cards, and gain life, with its massive activation cost entirely circumvented by controlling enough differently named lands. When Survey Mechan hits the graveyard, Mortuary instantly redirects it back to the top of your library so you can redraw and replay it, while also triggering Quintorius, History Chaser because a card left your graveyard. Thanks to Exalted Sunborn doubling any tokens created, that single departure yields two Spirit tokens instead of one. You then feed those tokens directly into Ashnod's Altar to generate the mana needed to recast Survey Mechan, creating an endless cycle of sacrifice, recursion, and explosive damage.
