How it works

  1. Cast Jyoti from the command zone by paying eight E (if able) due to Nissa, or by paying 2G manaU mana otherwise, plus its commander tax.
  2. When Jyoti enters, it triggers, creating a 1/1 Forest Dryad creature token for each time you've cast Jyoti from the command zone this game.
  3. When the Forest Dryads enter, Nissa triggers that many times, causing you to get EE for each Forest Dryad.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Jyoti, adding CC.
  5. Choose to return Jyoti to the command zone from your graveyard.
  6. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing all but one Forest Dryad that was created in step 2, adding CC for each Forest Dryad sacrificed.
  7. Repeat
