How it works
Cast Traveling Plague by paying 3, attaching it to another creature you control.
When Traveling Plague enters, Ghostly Dancers triggers, creating a creature token.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the creature Traveling Plague is attached to.
When the creature dies, Traveling Plague triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the token created in step 2.
When Traveling Plague enters, Ghostly Dancers triggers, creating a creature token.
Repeat from step 3.
This clever loop turns Traveling Plague into a self-sustaining engine by exploiting its own recycling clause: when the creature it enchants dies, the Aura simply returns to the battlefield. By using Ashnod's Altar to sacrifice that creature for mana, you satisfy the trigger condition while fueling the loop's activation costs. Meanwhile, Ghostly Dancers sits on the board watching the constant comings and goings, leveraging its eerie ability to churn out a stream of Spirit tokens every single time Traveling Plague loops back onto the battlefield.
