How it works

  1. Cast Warhost's Frenzy with kicker by paying 2B manaR mana.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the persist creature.
  3. When the persist creature dies, it and Warhost's Frenzy trigger.
  4. Resolve the Warhost's Frenzy trigger, causing you to draw a card.
  5. Resolve the persist creature's trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  6. When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Olivia triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to discard a card.
  7. Repeat from step 2
