How it works
- Cast Abby from the command zone by paying 1 plus commander tax if applicable.
- Abby triggers, creating a number of 1/1 Fungus Zombie creature tokens named Cordyceps Infected equal to the amount of mana spent to cast it.
- When Abby enters under an opponent's control, Mirror of Life Trapping triggers, exiling Abby.
- Choose to return Abby from exile to the command zone.
- Activate two Codryceps Infected tokens by tapping them, adding .
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Cordyceps Infected token, adding CC.
- Repeat step 6 until you have enough mana to cast Abby.
- Repeat from step 1.
By casting Abby, Merciless Soldier, you trigger her ability to flood the board with Cordyceps Infected tokens based on the mana spent, while Tannuk, Steadfast Second ensures those tokens gain haste and A Realm Reborn lets them tap for mana. You then feed those tokens into Ashnod's Altar to generate colorless mana alongside the colored mana from the tapped tokens, fueling your resources. Meanwhile, Mirror of Life Trapping catches Abby as she enters an opponent's control, exiling her so she can be conveniently returned to the command zone. This loop allows you to continuously recast your commander, generating boundless mana, sacrifices, and tokens to overwhelm the table.
