How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Gollum.
2. When Gollum dies, it and Ratadrabik trigger.
3. Resolve the Ratadrabik trigger, creating a nonlegendary token copy of Gollum that is a 2/2 Zombie in addition to its other types.
4. Resolve the Gollum trigger from step 2, causing the Ring to tempt you, and for the Gollum token to become your Ring-bearer, thus making it legendary.
5. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability from step 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Repeat.

This loop transforms Gollum, Patient Plotter into an immortal engine of sacrifice, fueled by Bartolomé del Presidio's ability to devour him for growing power. While Ratadrabik of Urborg normally prevents its token copies of legendary creatures from being legendary, Gollum's Ring-bearing status overrides this restriction by making the token legendary again, allowing Ratadrabik to keep churning out fresh copies every time the loop repeats. Each cycle triggers Gollum's departure ability to restart the Ring temptation anew, creating an endless cascade of sacrifices, enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers while pumping Bartolomé full of infinite +1/+1 counters.
