How it works
Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Gollum.
When Gollum dies, it and Ratadrabik trigger.
Resolve the Ratadrabik trigger, creating a nonlegendary token copy of Gollum that is a 2/2 Zombie in addition to its other types.
Resolve the Gollum trigger from step 2, causing the Ring to tempt you, and for the Gollum token to become your Ring-bearer, thus making it legendary.
Resolve the Yahenni ability from step 1, giving it indestructible until end of turn.
Repeat.
This clever loop revolves around the synergy between Ratadrabik of Urborg and Gollum, Patient Plotter, turning the Ring's temptation into an infinite engine. When you sacrifice Gollum to Yahenni, Undying Partisan, Ratadrabik steps in to create a nonlegendary copy of Gollum, while Gollum's own leaves-the-battlefield trigger causes the Ring to tempt you. By choosing the Gollum token as your Ring-bearer, it gains the legendary status it normally lacks, which allows Ratadrabik to catch subsequent deaths and perpetuate the cycle. Meanwhile, Yahenni feeds on all these infinite sacrifices, gaining protection through its own ability while keeping the entire engine running smoothly.
