How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Peema Outrider.
2. When Peema Outrider dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Peema Outrider enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the back side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight into an engine of endless sacrifice by granting its persist ability to Peema Outrider. When you sacrifice Peema Outrider to Yahenni, Undying Partisan, the persist trigger brings it back with a -1/-1 counter, but its fabricate ability immediately responds by placing a +1/+1 counter on it. Because state-based actions neutralize opposing +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters by removing one of each, Peema Outrider is wiped clean of counters and left ready to be sacrificed to Yahenni all over again. Meanwhile, the front face of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight eases your mana constraints along the way by granting your creature spells convoke, letting your looping creatures help pay their own way back onto the battlefield.
