How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Peema Outrider.
2. When Peema Outrider dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Peema Outrider enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop is anchored by Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, whose back face grants your other nontoken creatures persist to ensure they keep coming back from the graveyard. When you sacrifice Peema Outrider to Thermopod's activated ability for red mana, its persist ability triggers to return it to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter. Crucially, Peema Outrider's fabricate ability then triggers upon re-entry, allowing you to place a +1/+1 counter on it that immediately cancels out the -1/-1 counter through state-based actions. This leaves the creature completely reset and ready to be sacrificed to Thermopod all over again, generating an infinite storm of sacrifices, deaths, and red mana.
