How it works

1. Activate Arbor Elf by tapping it, untapping the enchanted forest.
2. Activate the ability granted to the Forest by Grafted Growth, adding .
3. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Arbor Elf.
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite blue mana, you may tap the Forest for other colors instead of blue, adding infinite colored mana.

This elegant loop transforms a humble Forest into a boundless reservoir of mana by turning its own untapped mechanics against it. First, you enchant the land with Grafted Growth so that tapping it yields two mana of any color instead of just one. With Freed from the Real attached to Arbor Elf, you use a fraction of that newly minted blue mana to untap the Elf, who in turn untaps the enchanted Forest to reset the cycle. Because the mana produced outpaces the cost of the untap ability, you can repeat this process at will to generate infinite colored mana.
